Hello, Sprouts! 

This is just a short update, we hope you are enjoying the event!

 

Rogue and Amazon Bavoms?

Oh my goodness, Sprouts! Something has occurred since the event. A new Bavom has appeared—the Rogue! 

The Rogue subtype will be based on Reptiles, Amphibians, Dinosaurs, and ancient reptiles. Members will recognize that these types used to be allowed under Amazon. Amazon will now represent all invertebrates, including crustaceans, cephalopods, mollusks, and insects. 

We have finally split these two subtypes; when we were working, we rediscovered this subtype in our records. We thought the subtype concept was so lovely that we added it back because it fit within our lore! We hope you enjoy this update. 

Now for the technical side. If users have an Amazon Bavom created before this update that they would prefer as a Rogue, they can contact us using the Help Desk. We will exchange the subtype for you for free. Once this change has been committed, it cannot be undone, so please be sure before commenting. Secondly, all existing Amazons will receive the "Bavom" form for free! We are doing this so users who choose not to change their Bavoms can continue using them without inconvenience.  

We are also adding Exoskeleton to all Amazons as an automutation to align with their new typing.  

Fluffia Settlements
All Fluffian settlements have been completed and are ready to be viewed here! 

Group Format Updates
DA will be migrating all groups, so we have done it now rather than wait. We have updated the group's front format. Everything works and is now usable for members.  

 

Group Folder Update

The update folder maintenance to ensure everything was appropriately converted. If you're searching for older folders, they've been relocated to storage for easy access. There are only three folders to keep things simple: Featured: Submit everything you'd like to showcase here. Unofficial Events: In this section, share your fun projects, as long as they follow the unofficial event rules.  YCH: Place them here whether it's Free to Use or Pay to Use YCH. We've cleaned out the folder, so if you had YCH listed before, kindly re-add them. 

 

Q & A Update

Additionally, we've revamped the Q&A section, turning it into a journal within the Bagbeans group. Now, users can tab into the group and reply directly to the journal using DA's comment feature, which should be better for users who are in a hurry and don't want to reply to a specific comment chain. Furthermore, to streamline communication, we've removed comments from the group's homepage to reduce confusion.

Changes
Rules - A mistake in the theme rules for characters being only 40 characters was corrected, and it has been updated to 50 characters. This has also been updated on open species theme approval.
 
Tokens - Added a 0 in front of the one-digit numbers for Tokens to make the list read correctly.

Clarifications
Treasure Hunt - Updated/Clarified language regarding awards for the Treasure Hunt medal. The wording was previously " first-time player prizes." This has been changed to "first-time winning prizes" since this item is only rewarded to a character the first time they find treasure.
